What is the hybridCart?

A shopping cart component written in ASP/VB script with an Access database behind it.

What does it do?

The hybridCart allows you to display products on your website, and allows viewers to select products they want to buy.
The database holds all the information necessary to complete an 'offline' creditcard transaction, but it can also be linked into a 'merchant account' such as WorldPay, to allow immediate creditcard payment.
Note that an account must be set up with the Merchant service separately.

Why is it good for me?

If you have items you want to sell online, hybridCart is a key component in the process. Products can be added, altered and deleted and many other aspects can be administered online, through a password-protected admin browser screen.
The hybridCart is designed so that users find the shopping process easy, and the cart cannot be lost, and is not reliant on certain browsers, like some other systems.
The user can even save a cart if they decide they want to research the product, or just sleep on their order, before completion. When they log back in (if its not longer than a week) their cart will be recalled.
